Greetings to friends in St. Petersburg and nearby....

This is to remind you that we will be meeting tomorrow, September 5 at
7:15 p.m. for sitting and walking meditation followed by Fred's dharma
talk. Our location is Yoga Moves studio at 1045 Ninth Avenue North in St.
Petersburg.

On September 19 we will meet at the usual time for meditation and a
discussion led by Jacqulyn. We will also take some time to discuss the
possibility of meeting on a weekly basis and other activities that may be
of interest.

On September 26 we will meet again for meditation and a dharma talk with
Fred.

The Tampa group, Dancing Waters Sangha, is extending an invitation to join
them to share ideas at a potluck on Friday (September 7). This will be an
opportunity to meet new friends in Tampa and get inspiration too!

Please see below, the letter of invitation and details of the potluck
gathering.

Enjoy your breathing....

..................................................................

Dear Friends,

I invite each of you to join me for a Dancing Waters Sangha (DWS) dinner
on Friday, September 7 at 7 pm at my home in south Tampa. Our gathering
will provide an opportunity to discuss our aspirations for our sangha for
the upcoming quarter - both in terms of ideas for specific teachings AND
possible interest in additional activities, such as classes, study groups,
or small discussion groups - as well as provide an informal setting to get
to know each other better. Those who are new to DWS are especially
welcome; we'd love to get to know you better and hear your questions and
ideas.

In the DWS "potluck" tradition, we ask everyone to bring a dish or drink
(vegetarian, nonalcoholic). Nothing fancy is required so if cooking's not
your thing, chips and salsa are always appreciated!

My address is 1910 W. Dekle Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. It's a one-way street
wedged between Watrous, Gunby, Hills and Rome, most easily accessed by
taking Gunby to Dekle (Mapquest may come in handy). My house in on the
right (south side of the street) just before Dekle deadends on Watrous.
Park in my drive or wherever you can find parking on the street (avoid
parking by a "5-minute" parking sign).

Please reply to DWS-Updates at floridamindfulness.org by September 4 to RSVP
so that we can have an idea of how many to expect.

I look forward to seeing you on September 7!

Angie Parrish

P.S. Fred Eppsteiner will be joining us for the dinner to discuss his
vision for the Florida Community of Mindfulness and to be available as a
resource in our planning. Also, the Board of FCM is in the process of
drafting a mission statement for FCM. A draft will be available tomorrow
evening if you wish to review it.
