Dear Sangha, 

 

This is just a reminder that this Sunday, April 1, 2007, Fred will continue
his commentaries on the teachings of the Japanese Zen Master Bassui.  The
teachings are from Master Bassui's book entitled "Mud and Water."  Master
Bassui was a great Zen master whose teachings can be found in Roshi Phillip
Kapleau's famous book "Three Pillars of Zen."  Bassui's teachings cut
directly to the essential questions of "what is this?" and "who is it that
listens to the teachings."  Those in the current intensive will find these
teachings powerfully relevant to the practices of the intensive.
