[Naples-news] Sangha Update

Dear Sangha,

 

I hope that this email finds everyone happy and in good health.  The past
year has been full of change which the Sangha embraced with open hearts and
minds.  The recent 6 month intensive, Deconstructing the Myth of Self, was
an incredible journey for the 40 or so members that participated.  It has
also been very gratifying to see the Dancing Waters Sangha and the St. Pete
Sangha grow.  Many thanks to all of those that have assisted the local
Sanghas in organizing weekly sittings and monthly Days of Mindfulness.   A
special thanks to our Noble Webmaster, Wes Cowley, for his tireless support
and maintenance of the FCM and Intensive websites.  

 

In Naples, change is again in the air.  Due to the sudden closing of Studio
41 Yoga this past week, the Naples Sangha will be relocating to another yoga
studio beginning June 2, 2006.  The owner of Bala Vinyasa Yoga, Kiersten
Mooney, has graciously offered to give the Naples Sangha a new home.  Bala
Vinyasa Yoga is located at Peacock Court, 6326 Trail Boulevard, Naples,
Florida 34108.  Peacock Court is across U.S. 41 from Barnes & Noble.

abutting a lake and residential areas.  The Naples Sangha will continue to
meet at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each Sunday.  In addition, the Naples Sangha will
be holding a special Half-day of Mindfulness with Bala Vinyasa instructor,
Debi Grilo, entitled "Meditation and Movement" on June 16th from 1 to 5 p.m.
at Bala Vinyasa Yoga.  More information on this event will be sent by email.
Everyone is welcome and it will be a wonderful opportunity to get to know
the students and teachers at Bala Vinyasa Yoga.
