Dear Friends,

As our Florida summer winds down, we will be beginning many new
Dharma-related activities in the fall that we want to share with you.

Intensives

Within the next week, you will receive information on two different
Intensives that will begin in mid-September and early October. The first
one is a six month Intensive that focuses on the teachings and practices
of the bodhisasttva path, the way of the awakened and compassionate
warrior. It will be led by Fred and is being offered to FCM members only.
The second one will be a ten week Intensive focusing on supporting newer
practitioners in establishing a consistent meditation practice and
bringing the practices of mindful and harmonious living into their daily
life. This Intensive will be led by experienced members of our community
and will be open to both members and non-members of FCM.

Days of Mindfulness

There will be a Day of Mindfulness in Naples on September 6th, one in
Tampa on October 12th, and one in New Smyrna Beach on November 9th.
Please access the FCM website for more information

Retreats

The next retreat will be a three day retreat in Tampa at the Franciscan
Center, October 23-26. Registration information will be emailed within the
next few weeks.

Sangha Gathering

We will have a sangha-wide gathering for FCM members at Rasayana Cove,
west of Sarasota/Bradenton on November 22nd.

I hope that many of you will be able to participate in these upcoming
activities. For more information about becoming a member of FCM, please
visit our website at http://www.floridamindfulness.org/membership.

With metta,

Angie
