Subject: Thich Nhat Hanh's Birthday

Dear Friends,

As mentioned in our Sangha meetings, Thay turns 82 in October.  For his
birthday he has asked that as a Sangha, we write to him a Happy Continuation
Day/Birthday note listing one thing we promise to do as individuals to have
a more mindful compassionate life and make the Earth a better place. He
emphazises how important it is to him that we make a comitment that we can
keep.

Emunah and I will be attending a retreat at the Blue Cliff Monastery in
October, right on Thay's Continuation Day/Birthday and will be happy to
deliver whatever e-mails, cards, letters, pictures, etc, you may wish to
send on behalf of our Sanghas, so send them along. Any suggestions you may
have for delivery or format are greatly appreciated. PEASE FORWARD MESSAGE
TO ALL SANGHA Members.
