Dear Friends,

Please join us for meditation and discussion at the Lotus Room at 7:00 PM
this Thursday (8/23). This week Susan Schmickle will be continuing our
August theme of Mindful Consumption with her talk "Egos Anonymous -- the
Ultimate Recovery Program."

Susan recently relocated to Florida from Indiana where she managed a
Retreat Center run by an intentional community.  She uses the tools of
Theravada Buddhism along with the practices of other Eastern and Western
traditions to foster awakening and its embodiment in human
consciousness.  Susan completed the Forest Way teacher training program
with Matthew Flickstein in 2001 and is currently training in other
disciplines in order to bring more depth to her teaching.
